My name is Kazi Chandrima Rahman. I am currently pursuing my PhD. in Embedded and Operating Systems Lab at CSE, UNSW Sydney, Australia, Kensington
Campus. Previously I served as a Research Assistant, CSE, UNSW, Kensington Campus, Australia.
I have teaching experience for more than twelve years in various private universities in Bangladesh, lastly working as an Assistant Professor in Dept of CSE, University of Asia Pacific. I also worked as a Software Developer in Grameen Solutions.
I have received my B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc in Computer Science from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have passed H.S.C and S.S.C from B.A.F. Shaheen College, Dhaka.
I have great passion about exercise, healthy living and fitness. I was a member of Gold’s Gym, Bashundhara, Dhaka for more than 10 years and lost about 26 kgs within a year and now maintaining my weight and shape. I am continuously acquiring knowledge about these topics. I have received “Excellent Fitness Award” from Gold’s Gym, Bashundhara in 2008. Besides these, I’m also interested in Sports. I was the Convener of Sports Club of my workplace– University of Asia Pacific, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Badminton, Chess, Volleyball, Cricket, and Football are my favorite games. I have achieved several Champion trophies in Badminton from my University. After coming to Australia, I am practicing home workout including: : HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training), Kickboxing, Step Aerobics, Weight-lifting, Plyometrics, Zumba etc.
I was also a Cadet of Bangladesh National Cadet Core (BNCC) of Bangladesh Air Force during my H.Sc. study period.
I am not only enthusiastic about doing exercise but also interested about proper diet and healthy lifestyle.
Exercises like Spinning, Aerobics, Kickboxing, Running, HIIT, Step Aerobics, Zumba, Circuit Training are my favorite exercises. Circuit and kickboxing improved my physique a lot!
I try to gather huge knowledge about exercise and diet and try to implement this knowledge in my life. I did not find any fitness blog or website in Bangladesh and so I have started this fitness blog especially for women. I will try to share my knowledge about exercises and diet with people and will try to make everyone aware about exercise and fitness.
I think lack of knowledge of proper diet and exercise is killing people in the world as well as my country — Bangladesh. I’m astonished to see what an unhealthy life people are living. I have read and visited hundreds and hundreds of exercise, diet and fitness related web sites. I have collected exercise related videos of world’s famous trainers like Jillian Michael, Cathe Friedrich, Shelly Dose, Jennis Saffel, Tracy Anderson, Kathy Smith, Denise Austin, Shaun T, Bryan Kest, Rodney Yee etc.
I’m also a fitness writer in Daily New Age, Daily Amar Desh, Sastha Bangla, Deho, Irish Bangla Barta, Youth Spark.
